Gerardo Puisseaux is a Cuban born U.S. citizen who worked as a construction worker in Miami before becoming a Barack Obama impersonator.[1] He joined online Spanish-language news channel America TeVe and followed Obama on the 2008 campaign trail "causing a stir in each location".[1] His story received international media coverage.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
Puisseaux has a thick Cuban accent and said he draws a lot of attention and questions, sometimes political, wherever he goes. "Sometimes I get tired because everybody stopping me, a lot of questions, sometimes political questions."
